We all know that the health industry is continually evolving with new information, science and technology. Renewing your certification every two years allows you to stay ahead of the game and current as a leader in your industry.
2.0 CECs are required every two years to keep your Venice Nutrition Certification valid. In addition to CEC options available by Venice Nutrition we would like to also introduce our Recommended Certification partner, NAFC.
NAFC provides a variety of cutting edge, informative Continuing Education options to enhance your skill set, make learning fun and positively impact your business growth.
Both the NAFC Nutrition Coach Foundations and the NAFC Personal Training Certification fulfill your two year requirement. NAFC also offers many other courses to fulfill your CEC requirements.
Recertification and CEC FAQs
How long is the certification valid?
Your Venice Nutrition Certification is valid for 2 years from the date you successfully pass your exams and complete your certification. 2.0 CECs will be required to maintain a valid Certification beyond your first two years, and for every two year period thereafter.
What are the requirements for renewal?
Renew Your Certification Today >Every two years your certification needs to be reissued. Please follow this process:
- Pay the $99.00 recertification fee.
- Once your order is processed, our certification department will review which CEC’s were completed and will keep a record of the particular CEC’s you have chosen to complete. CEC Options >
- Once your CEC’s are confirmed, your Nutrition Certification will be reissued with the new valid dates and emailed to you within 1-2 weeks.
- Here's what you get with the recertification:
- Keep your credential of Certified Nutrition Coach active
- Access to Venice Nutrition's Coaches Network for an additional 2 years.
- Access to your personalized Venice Nutrition account for an additional 2 years

Venice Nutrition Offers 3 options to attain your 2.0 CECs:
- Advanced Coaching Series – Each series is worth 2.0 CECs read more about Advanced Coaching >>
- Speaker Training – 2.0 CECs read more about Speaker Training >>
- (Free Option) Watch 10 Advanced Coaching Webinars in a 2 year period, write a 500+ word count summary on each, and receive 2.0 units. Each 45 minute Webinar is worth .2 CEC. The Advanced Coaching and Speaker Training courses both require an investment and are well worth it. At Venice Nutrition we believe in options and the overall purpose of CEC’s are to enhance your education. For this reason you have the choice to get the necessary units by Watching 10 Advanced Coaching Webinars free of charge, and then writing 500+ word count summaries on each.
